Castle Rock Idaho

About a two hour drive from Cache Valley. You'll find an awesome formation of rocks in southern Idaho named Castle Rock. Unfortunately this was the weekend the weather decided to drop from the 60F temperatures we've been having into to snow weather. Which pushed me down off the rocks in the area as it tends to make the slick rocks a bit dangerous to be on.

Definitely going to go back, for this formation as well as the nearby City of Rocks, once the weather has warmed up again.

Where East met West, ATK Propulsion Systems, and old things.

The Golden Spike Historical Site, where the first transcontinental road was completed. Is a little bit quiet this time of year. I recommend going in the summer! It's also pretty close to a rocket exhibit for ATK Propulsion systems. And a whole lot of empty land.

One of these days I'm going to meet a nice hobo in the abandon buildings I go into..

Just Jumpin'

Just Jumpin' is a local non profit organization that looks to get people out and active. Particularly if that activity is using a jump rope! Where I would like to start getting experience outside of landscapes and nature I thought I'd attend their exhibition. My goal during the event was to capture the motion of the subjects.

And y'know... being a kid is just so hard!

Spring coming early to Utah

A considerably light winter means we get our spring a little earlier. Will be revisiting these locations as the green takes over.
