It's the time of year for the the annual visit and hike around the Cherry Peak area. It was a bit of an early visit, so not the normal blooms. Instead, what must usually have come and gone, thousands of tiny blooms among the grass.
James will have a pretty big 2017. Not only will he be graduating from High School. He's also been called to serve a mission for the LDS Church later this year. Best wishes to him in all his endeavors! And to his mother as her first leaves the nest!
I was given an amazing opportunity as a second shooter with Rachel Hudson of Kylee Ann Studios. The day started out at the Salt Lake City Temple where family waited to greet the newly weds as the exited the temple. A little fun with group shots and some time with the happy couple. In the evening they held a happening reception at Le Jardin in Sandy, Utah. Live music, dancing, and games. One great and memorable day!

With the large amount of water coming down the snake this year. There's a whole lot of rapids to not play in. Thought I might get lucky to see someone. But it's a little too crazy right now.
Spring melt leads to an all time high at Shoshone Falls. This location is not too far off from where Evil Kenevil attempted to jump the Snake River in 1974.
It may have been a cold day but these little cuties and their parents were troopers!
